Junior Year: Biology
I have never taken a biology/environmental science class before this year so I didn't have any set expectations for the class itself. By the name of the class, I figured that we wouldbe learning about cells and the environment around us- along with the things that make them up. An important learning moment for me was toward the beginning of the semester when we did the alstromerias observations. Before this observation, I never gave more thought into what creates a flower or knew about things like the plant structure. The photo above demonstrates how this semester I've been able to push myself and others around me to think more critically. We've done this by multiple activities that revolve around big questions and paying attention to detail.
