SCIENCE CURRENT EVENT
A Science Current Event is an article that we read that updates us on the latest things that are happening and changing in the science community. Every Tuesday for homework we must find an article from this page on Mrs. Quinlan's DP and write a paragraph about our opinions on the article we read. Some Tuesdays Mrs. Quinlan "mixes it up" and has us also find five new vocabulary words also to define. Below is a SCE that I completed on the chances of Ebola outbreak in the U.S.

I think Science Current Events are very beneficial for us because its fun to learn about new things going on that we wouldn't notice or pay attention to on a normal basis. By doing so many of these SCEs, its made me wonder about the world around me and how they're constantly changing.
